In accordance with NFF traditions a pre-conference PhD Workshop will be held on 19.-20. August 2013, the Monday and Tuesday before the main NFF conference.

Bifröst University

The workshop will be held in Bifröst University.

Bifröst University was founded in Reykjavík in 1918 on the model of Ruskin College, Oxford, under the name Samvinnuskólinn or the Cooperative College. Its role then, as now, was to educate leaders for business and society.

The school was moved to Bifröst in Borgarfjörður in 1955.

The Bifröst campus is 110 km from the centre of Reykjavík, roughly 90 minutes’ driving distance from Reykjavík.

The workshop provides a limited number of PhD students with a forum for presenting and discussing their research and opportunity to get feedback from and change comments and views with fellow PhD students and experienced researches in the field.

The workshop is open to all doctoral students within the all fields of business administration.
